Michael will once again perform at Dodger Stadium

Michael will perform both the National Anthem and God Bless America on July 6th at Dodger Stadium when they play against the Florida Marlins.
This marks the thrid time ML has performed for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Originally Michael was invited to perform at the opening game for the 2010 season but was unavailable because of his current international touring schedule as a special guest with Michael Bolton. It will be televised in Los Angeles by KCAL channel 9 and MLB.TV

Michael continues with pop star Michael Bolton on upcoming international tour.

ML will join Bolton as his special guest saxophonist and also perform his hit single "You and I" during the tour that hits Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Japan, China, Holland, France, Germany and England. Unfortunately Michael will not be able to perform with Gentlemen of the Night in Newport Beach on May 14th, and together with Brian Culbertson at Pizza On The Park in London May 18th to the 24th. Michael Lington has been invited by pop star Michael Bolton to be his special guest on his upcoming world tour.

Lington will perform his #1 radio hit You and I during during the show and also be featured on several of Bolton's hits, including Soul Provider and Georgia.

Michael has once again been commissioned to perform for the Danish Royal Family.

This time it is for Queen Marguerite's 70th birthday on April 16th, 2010. This is the fourth time ML will perform for the Danish monarchy. Lington performed in 1990 for the Queen's 50th birthday, in 2004 for Crown Prince Frederik's wedding to Princess Mary, in 2009 for Prince consort Henrik's 75th birthday and now for Queen Marguerite's 70th birthday celebration. Michael records music and films an episode for CSI:NY

Earlier this month Michael was commissioned by CSI:NY to record a solo version of Mel Torme's The Christmas Song for the opening sequence and for throughout the episode. ML also appeared in the episode. The CBS show stars Gary Senise and the episode features special guest stars Vanessa Minnillo and Kim Kardashian. Click here for the opening sequence

ML featured in Univision Christmas TV special from the White House.

Michael's mentoring work with Create Now was featured in a Spanish TV special hosted by Gloria Estefan from the White House. The show featured Frank Covarrubias, who started out his young life on the wrong track. Frank was in and out of juvenile facilities before music changed his life. His inspiring story reveals his journey in becoming a saxophonist and an amazing young man. In the TV program Michael surprises Frank by presenting him with a brand new saxophone. Michael gets invited back to Dodger Stadium

Michael was invited back to Dodgers Stadium for an encore performance of the National Anthem and God Bless America. This time it was for the opening game of the NL playoffs between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals. Michael performed the National Anthem in front of 150 military servicemen rolling out the American flag on the entire field and the stadium was packed with 56000 baseball fans. After the performance Michael was greeted by Tommy Lasorda and the Dodgers won the game and swept the series 3-0. Michael Lington to perform for Denmark's Prince Henrik on June 11

Michael has been comissioned to perform for Prince Henrik of Denmark in celebration of the Prince's 75th birthday in June.

HRH Henrik, The Prince Consort of Denmark, is the husband of Margrethe II, Queen of Denmark.

Michael is no stranger to royalty as this will be his third time performing for the Danish Royal Family. He performed in his hometown of Copenhagen for the Queen's 50th birthday celebration in 1990 and also at the wedding reception of Crown Prince Frederik and Australian Mary Elizabeth Donaldson at Fredensborg Castle in May 2004. However, it will be the first time Danish-born Lington will perform as an American citizen for his former sovereign and will no doubt be especially memorable since he also shares his own birthdate (June 11) with the Prince.

This special command performance is a private event and no tickets will be available to the public.

at the Hollywood Bowl June 15th.
