While “South Bay” strutted along with one of Brown’s classic straightforward electric guitar solos, here the versatile Grammy winner adds a different mystique to the track with an irresistible tremolo sound that feels, perfectly in line with the song title, like it breezed out of a sexy romantic dream. “Dreamy Night” follows on the heels of the recent chart success of the EP’s funk-driven title track “On the Scene.”
